Body & Soul was chosen as both the name and theme of Leuven’s next city festival (2027/2028). A more fitting or inspiring metaphor could hardly be imagined for our city, where pooling our resources and looking after one another is second nature, benefiting our society as a whole, across all conceivable boundaries.

In 2030 a Belgian city will become the cultural capital of Europe. Leuven plus the East Brabant region is a candidate. If Leuven wins the title, 2030 will be an unforgettable year.
